William Dillon otter
Sir William Dillon otter was the first Canadian born Chief of General Staff. He laid the foundation of what Canada is today by leading the Canadian military in some of its earliest days. Without his leadership, Canada wouldn’t be what it is today.
•Mahdist War (1881–1899)
-was a British colonial war, so Canada helped out
-fought between mahdist religious leader and forced from khedivate, Egypt with Britain later helping out
•Second Boer War (1899-1902)
Mental illness is a serious problem in today’s society, especially among veterans of the various wars Canada has fought in.
