the cree live north and west of lake superior in ontario, manitoba, saskatchewan, and alberta.During cermonial times for the Cree they would eat specific things during them times including Ham and scone,Buffalo/Bison/Elk burgers, and fried breads. They would also serve a lot of wild berries and rice fresh for their ceremonies. The cree would have two special meals layed out as well as the other foods they would bring during the ceremony and that was a baked lake trout and cree styled pea soup.

The meats and berries that are cooked during these times are cooked over a fire and sticks would be used for turning and giving the fish a smokey taste to them. the fresh berries being used would be for the dancers and used for ceremonial and traditional purposes.
